In 2005, while busy with law school, I accidentally found a group of Straight survivors online. This was something I did NOT want to happen. The last thing I ever wanted to think about ever again was my time in Straight Inc. (Oct 84-Feb 86). But once I found survivors, I couldn't not stop the memories and emotions from coming back. That fateful day changed the direction of my life. I was about to graduate from law school. I had every intention of practicing law. But instead, months of therapy for PTSD, a desire to research Straight, wanting to help other Straight survivors with PTSD and my determination to educate the public changed the direction of my life. This website is the result of how my life changed, once again, because of Straight Inc. This time, for the better.

I created this website in 2006. It was initially on Geocities which was eventually discontinued. As a result, this website was moved here in 2009. I initially started this website to gather survivor stories in one place. They were scattered all over the web and very hard to find. Over the years, my research has generated numerous documents, videos etc. that were added to this website. Other Straight survivors also contributed their personal stories, their program documents, or documents they obtained via FOIA requests.
